The final Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus offers for 2021 are upon us. With less than a month until 2022, Microsoft and Sony have revealed their free games for Xbox Live Gold members and PlayStation Plus users. Xbox struck first by revealing their December 2021 Games with Gold offers just before Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, we have had to wait for Sony to reveal the December 2021 PS+ offers. Earlier this month, a rumor emerged claiming to be the December 2021 PS+ offers. If true, this would make for the second time in a row that the offers had been leaked. Turns out they were true, so we are now covering the December 2021 PS+ and Games with Gold Offers.
December 2021 GWG Offers
The December 2021 Games with Gold offers feel rather lackluster when you compare them to the December 2021 PS+ offers. These four Games with Gold titles are rather old titles, so they might not be your cup of tea. Nevertheless, they are still four free games.
Starting on December 1st, Xbox Live Gold members can download and play The Escapist 2 and Orcs Must Die! The Escapist 2 ($19.99) will be free until December 31st. Meanwhile, Orcs Must Die! ($14.99) will be free to Xbox Live Gold members until December 16th. Then on December 16th, Tropico 5 – Penultimate Edition and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet will help you to devise a strategy for world domination. Tropico 5 – Penultimate Edition ($24.99) will be free to gold members until January 16th. Finally, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet ($9.99), an old shooter puzzler, will be free until December 31st.
December 2021 PS+ Offers
Despite being leaked in November, we waited for the official announcement by Sony to share the December 2021 PS+ offers. In addition to the three regular offers, the three PSVR games are still available. Here are the December 2021 PS+ offers.
Starting on December 7th, PlayStation Plus members will be able to download: Godfall: Challenger Edition on either the PS4 or PS5, Lego DC Super-Villains on the PS4, and Mortal Shell on the PS4. These three offers will be available until January 3rd, 2022.
