The first month of 2022 is coming to a close and what a wild ride it has been. Sadly, 2022 started with a tragic beginning, the death of Betty White and many others. Thankfully, 2022 has a good way to distract players from the harsh realities of life, offering a variety of video games to distract gamers. With upcoming titles such as Rainbow Six: Extraction, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Horizon Forbidden West, and Elden Ring, it will be easy to escape from the harsh realities of life. With these releases in mind, the February 2022 Games with Gold and PS+ offers will not distract from these upcoming titles.
On Wednesday, Sony announced the February 2022 PlayStation Plus offers. This announcement came as a surprise to many since typically, the Xbox Games with Gold are announced before the PS+ offers. With Sony announcing the February 2022 PS+ offers it was Microsoft’s game to lose and oh boy did they. We speculate they are having to save after the Activision-Blizzard acquisition. PS+ Offers
Starting on February 1st, PlayStation Plus members will have access to three interesting games. The three free PlayStation Plus games are:
- EA Sports UFC 4 (PS4)
- Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure (PS4)
- Planet Coaster: Console Edition (PS5)
If you are excited about Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, then Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep is a great way to get you prepared. Be warned, the One-Shot Adventure is only free on PlayStation 4. Additionally, Planet Coaster: Console Edition is only free on PlayStation 5. Sony really likes to stick it to their members, don’t they? These three games will be free until February 28th.
Games with Gold
With Sony already announcing their PS+ offers for February 2022, it was Microsoft’s game to lose. Sadly, Microsoft dropped the ball with their lineup offer. All four of these titles will give players a new experience than what they are used to, however, it would have been nice for a single AAA title. The February 2022 Games with Gold are:
- Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse ($24.99): Available February 1st to 28th.
- Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield ($11.99 ): Available February 16th to March 15th.
- Hydrophobia ($8.99 ): Available February 1st to 15th.
- Band of Bugs ($9.99): Available February 16th to 28th.
