Get ready to start your engines. Gameloft is thrilled to announce Disney Speedstorm, a new cross-playable arcade racing experience, unveiled during the Nintendo Direct presentation on Feb 9th, 2022. Player’s race and battle each other on stunning tracks inspired by Disney and Pixar films, mastering each racer’s unique ultimate skills to claim victory in this high-octane racing game. Fans who are familiar with Asphalt Series were developed by Gameloft, it is always about speed, more speed, and actions, we should see tons of that in this new upcoming racing game in the world of Disney and Pixar.
Disney Speedstorm is a free-to-play game that takes racing to a whole new level of intense speed racing that will be enjoyable for all players including myself, as a fan of many racings game such as Asphalt and Mario Kart I am hoping for a fun game to play alone or with friends. From the Free-to-play perspective, I am hoping that unlocking characters doesn’t require microtransaction but just by playing the game and that if I ever have to use my real money, it is mostly for cosmetics or for a seasonal pass that has skins and items.
Disney Speedstorm is a hero-based combat racing game featuring iconic Disney and Pixar heroes and villains reimagined as high-speed road warriors, with racetracks inspired by their unique worlds. These characters include racers such as Captain Jack Sparrow, Mulan, Mickey Mouse, Sulley, the Beast, and more, suited up and revving up for racing action. Throughout the game, you can upgrade each racer’s stats and make the most of their unique skills, which can impact the outcome of a single race and dramatically change the way to play.
The racetracks include from the docks of Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean to the wilds of The Jungle Book, and even racing on the Great Wall of China seen in Mulan or the Scare Floor from Disney and Pixar’s Monsters, Inc., players can experience these worlds from a fresh, exciting perspective geared specifically for racing.

Players will be able to speed through action-packed tracks solo or challenge friends in local split screens and online multiplayer modes, with Disney Speedstorm supporting cross-platform play. Additionally, the action never slows down thanks to fresh content always around the corner. New Disney and Pixar racers will be added regularly, and unique tracks will be released often, to create more fresh strategies and challenges in the mix.
