The first day of March is now upon us and with it comes a new assortment of free games. With March welcoming for the changing of seasons, we can look forward to a diverse lineup. So prepare to Spring into action with these free upcoming games. While both companies typically announce their subscriber’s free games, both Sony and Microsoft waited until the end to reveal their lineups. Both the March 2022 Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus lineup will grant a wide variety of titles. So what are the March 2022 Games with Gold titles? Will they exceed the March 2022 PlayStation Plus titles? Let’s find out!

Games with Gold

Starting on March 1st, Xbox Live Gold members will have access to two of the four Games with Gold titles; these are the four titles that will be free throughout March: The Flame in the Flood, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, Street Power Soccer, and SpongeBob’s Truth or Square. Below are the dates that each game with be available.

  • The Flame in the Flood (March 1 to March 31)
  • Sacred 2: Fallen Angel (March 1 to March 15)
  • Street Power Soccer (March 16 to April 15)
  • SpongeBob’s Truth or Square (March 16 to March 31)

March 2022 Games with Gold & PS+

Unlike Microsoft, PlayStation has compiled a strong list of free titles to give to its subscribers. These four titles are name recognizable and eye-catching. The four titles will be available as of March 1st, 2022; they will continue to be free until April 4th, 2022. The four PlayStation Plus titles for March 2022 are:

ARK: Survival Evolved (PS4)
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends (PS4 & PS5)
Ghostrunner (PS5 only)
Team Sonic Racing (PS4)

Looking at both the March 2022 Games with Gold and PlayStation + offers, it is clear that Sony is going all out. All four of the titles being offered overshadow, the Games with Gold offers. Additionally, Sony is throwing in an additional stand-alone title to promote one of their console exclusives.
