During the Nintendo Direct Partner mini showcase, there was a surprising update regarding a game that many of us have been keeping an eye out for, Disney Dreamlight Valley. Gameloft has announced its Disney-themed life Simulator, Disney Dreamlight Valley, will launch in early access this September. We were able to see some of the gameplay giving us an idea of what we can expect. Here’s all the new information shared during the showcase.
New Info
In the game, fans can create their personalized avatar as they embark on a journey with many familiar characters from the Disney and Pixar Universe in the world of Dreamlight Valley. We will be cooking with Remy, doing some gardening with Wall-E, and fishing with Goofy. Players will have to uncover the mystery that is going on and help the inhabitants recover their lost memories after an event called “The Forgetting” occurs. You’ll be trying to free Dream Castle from the thorns surrounding it and unlocking new realms with new challenges as you go. By doing these new challenges, players will get some amazing rewards that are themed around those series, letting you create your own Disney home in this magical game.
From what I saw in the gameplay, as someone who enjoys and spends so much time in Animal Crossing, I am so looking forward to checking Disney Dreamlight Valley; this is because I grew up loving Disney. Visiting places and meeting iconic Disney and Pixar Characters is almost like a dream come true. I can’t wait to see what kind of magical house I can build in this gorgeous game. I might even play some Disney sing-along songs while playing the game because why not?
Founders Pack
The Special Founder’s Packs for the game will be filled with exclusive goodies such as in-game currency, cosmetic items, and more. Plus, buying the Founder’s Pack will grant entrance into a special Early Access period; this will give players the chance to be one of the very first to play the game. Additionally, by purchasing the Founder’s Pack you will be able to play the game both on PC and console. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will get access to the founder’s pack granting early access on Xbox.
Disney Dreamlight Valley will launch as a free-to-play game at some point in 2023. It’ll be on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
