During Summer Game Fest multiple AAA and Indie titles received new trailers for their upcoming game. A new trailer for Aliens, The Callisto Protocol, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and many other titles were showcased. One of the most notable titles showcased during the event was TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. At PAX East 2022, we met with Dotemu to preview TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. Today’s announcement revealed the official release date of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge and how many players can play locally and online; additionally, the game will be joining Game Pass on release. Yesterday, Dotemu and Tribute Games, in partnership with Nickelodeon announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is unleashing ninjutsu in an all-new brawl against the Foot Clan on June 16 across PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Game Pass. TMNT fans who pre-order the game now on Xbox or Nintendo’s eShop will score a 10% discount; a discount will be available on PSN and Steam within the next few days.
Casey Jones
The new trailer showcases the playable character Casey Jones. Prepare to use the Turtles’ spirited ally to clean up the streets of New York City. Casey’s balance of range, speed, and power makes him a formidable all-around threat as he swings through flanks of Foot Clan soldiers with his signature hockey stick. Casey Jones is an unlockable character.
TMNT Multiplayer
The bombshell announcement also revealed the first look at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge’s 6-player multiplayer. In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, enemies’ difficulty scales based on the number of players kicking shells. Six-player multiplayer becomes a totally intense showdown against Shredder’s minions. Players can play on the same couch or online. Online multiplayer supports 2-6 players with heroes able to drop in and out of play at any time.
