Doctor Who Comes to Fall Guys

Dr Who Fall Guys Skins

Since its release, Mediatonic has been looking for new and exciting ways to excite the Fall Guys community. Since 2020, Fall Guys has featured a variety of crossover events and new seasons. Over the last three years, the game has featured content from Portal, Doom, Among Us, Sonic, Assassin’s Creed, and Ghostbusters just to name a few. Now another popular sci-fi franchise is coming to Fall Guys. No, it’s not Star Wars but you are getting close. We are talking about non-other but the beloved British time-traveling space show, Dr. Who. Last month, the world was shocked by the return of a beloved Dr. Who character, but we won’t spoil that wonderful moment.

In celebration of the changing of the Doctors, Fall Guys has introduced an event featuring skins based on a Dalek, The Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker), and the Thirteenth Doctor (Jodie Whittaker). The teaser trailer for the Doctor Who event also features themed banners. During the trailer, we can see the different beans showcasing different animations. Oddly, the one bean has a Sonic Screwdriver reference without featuring a Sonic Screwdriver. The trailer does warn that some items might require purchase.

Price

The costumes are locked behind Show-Bucks. Each Fall Guys Doctor Who skin costs 800 Show-bucks while the Sonic Screwdriver emote costs 400 Show Bucks. Players can also get the Dr. Who cosmetics through bundles.

Two bundles are available: the Regeneration Bundle and the Doctor Dalek Bundle. The Regeneration Bundle packages together both the Fourteen and Fourth doctor’s costumes, the emote, and nametag cosmetics. Meanwhile, the Doctor Dalek bundle includes the Dalek costume, a Thirteenth Doctor’ outfit, and a few nametag cosmetics. Each package costs 1200 Show-Bucks. Players who have not earned enough Show-bucks will have to purchase the costumes by using real-life money to purchase Show-Bucks. $7.99 in USD grants the player 1000 Show-Bucks while $19.99 USD grants 2800 Show-Bucks.

The Tardis Treats event takes place from November 1st to November 5th; this may not be the last time we see the Dr. Who themed cosmetics. With season 2, Satellite Scramble, being space-focused, what other space-themed crossovers can we expect?
