With about a month to PAX East 2023, the PAX East show floor has been updated to include a popular and massive developer/publisher of the video game industry. In previous years, we have shared with you the official PAX East and PAX West show floor; this often included a list of developers and publishers as well as other vendors. Typically, the first list released does not include any AAA publishers. Today, we have learned that Nintendo will have a booth at PAX East 2023. The PAX East update does not show the booth size but does give the booth number of Booth: 13055.
In prior years, Nintendo would typically feature an upcoming game on the show floor. In 2020, Nintendo featured Animal Crossing New Horizons on the show floor. Previously, Nintendo has featured Pokemon and other popular games before their upcoming release. At the moment, it is not clear what Nintendo will showcase, but it is expected to focus on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
At PAX West, Nintendo had a booth dedicated to Splatoon 3; Splatoon 3 would release less than a week later; additionally, we had the opportunity to preview Bayonetta 3. With The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom set to release on May 12th, 2023, we expect that Nintendo will be showing off a demo of the game. If their booth is anything like their The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild booth, then it will be extravagant.
What do you expect?
