WWE 2K23 is scheduled to be released in less than a week, at least for those who have preordered the deluxe edition. With less than a week til launch, WWE Games has continued to share new information with wrestling fans leading up to the release. Throughout the week, 2K Games will be sharing information about matches, game modes, and even creation options. Yesterday, 2K Games in collaboration with Up Up Down Down released information about changes to MY GM mode. Today, new information was shared about the My Faction game mode. Below, we will be covering the new updates to these two game modes ahead of the launch.
My GM Mode
During Up Up Down Down, Xavier Woods and Tyler Breeze shared with WWE new features coming to WWE 2K23’s My GM mode. Here are the new additions and changes coming to My GM Mode
- Xavier Woods, Tyler Breeze, Eric Bischoff, Kurt Angle and Mick Foley will be potential GMs
- Players can run NXT 2.0 and WCW on top of Raw and Smackdown
- Triple Threat, Fatal 4-Way, Steel Cage, Backstage Brawl, Falls Count Anywhere, Submission, Iron Man, Last Man Standing, and Tornado Tag matches can now be booked.
- WWE 2K23 allows up to four players to play locally in My GM mode
- New Seasonal challenges and multiple seasons
- WWE Draft Shake Up – allowing rosters to change
- Slammy Awards are granted at the end of the season
- Hall of Fame to the best GM. After 10 wins, the player is inducted into the Hall of Fame.
- Keepers – Players can put franchise tags on superstars to protect them from the draft.
Sadly, there is no mention as to whether or not WWE 2K23 will include an online version of MY GM mode.
My Faction Mode
For those who have never played the MyFaction game mode, it is similar to other sports game deck builders. Players build matches based on the cards that they draw. Cards can be upgraded.

- Enjoy Alternate Superstar Attires: Collect multiple iterations and MyFACTION exclusive looks for favorite Superstars while building the ultimate faction, from the most coveted historic looks to the most up-to-date changes happening on TV.
