When it comes to exclusives, what do you think of? Do you think of Final Fantasy releasing exclusively on PlayStation? What about Ghostwire Tokyo launching on PlayStation first? Rarely do we talk about games launching exclusively on Xbox or Nintendo first that aren’t first-party titles. Within recent years, Nintendo and Microsoft have worked closely sharing some titles with one another. Rarely, do you have a game launch on Nintendo Switch first before any other platform. That brings us to the news today. Today, Wired Productions and Rogue Sun have announced that Tin Hearts will be launching on Nintendo Switch first.
Tin Hearts will release on the Nintendo Switch first on April 20th, 2023. The PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Utomik), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S versions are now scheduled to be released on May 16th. At the moment, the PCVR, Meta Quest 2, and PSVR2 are scheduled to be released later this year. If you missed our PAX East 2023 coverage, check it out here.
Statement on Switch Exclusive
“We’re honoured to be working closely with Nintendo to bring Tin Hearts exclusively to the Nintendo Switch on its Apr 20th launch.” Said Kostas Zarifis, Managing Director at Rogue Sun. “After winning “Most Anticipated Nintendo Switch Game” at Gamescom last year we wanted to celebrate all the love we’ve been receiving from the Nintendo community and this timed exclusive launch felt like a great way to do just that.”
“Launching games is getting tougher, sometimes it is worth mixing things up.” Said Leo Zullo, Managing Director at Wired Productions. “With the love shown by Nintendo and Nintendo fans, it made sense to give those players a chance to experience the wholesome Tin Hearts… especially before Zelda comes and takes over.”
Are you excited to see Tin Hearts release later this month or next month? Will you be picking it up on the Switch or wait until it launches on another platform?
