When it comes to computers and desktops, I honestly don’t have a clue. Despite building my own desktop in 2016, most of the parts for the build were based on a friend’s recommendation. Despite not knowing much about parts, building the gaming PC was still a ton of fun. Even though it has not been used in a while, the desktop still holds up even if it can’t run things on the highest setting; this is partially due to the MSI 970 Motherboard and the Geforce GTX 1050Ti. Now, compared to modern-day computers, that desktop is a bit of a dinosaur, but it is special nonetheless.
With gaming continuously evolving, I decided to check out PC brands at PAX West. Whether it was the loud eSports arena nearby or the sleek designs of their merchandise, I was drawn in and wanted to learn more about what MSI was showing off. Obviously, with components, it is a bit hard to fully tell how efficient each part is. Despite that, seeing them up close and in front of you makes you realize the intricate details that each manufacturer does to make their gear stand out.
