With the Game Awards 2023 all done, it was a fantastic show that honored developers and Video games. However, during the showcase, we also got a glimpse of new world premiere trailers that were showcased for upcoming games. A game that I saw caught my interest was Bellwrights an open-world survival game developed and published by Donkey Crew a brand-new studio from Poland.
Bellwright is expected to release sometime in Q1 of 2024 and it will be coming to early access around that time. It has been a trend where you see a lot of upcoming PC indie games going to early access and I have to say the majority of them do very well, and I am hoping this one does as well as another favorite game that I love which is Medieval Dynasty.
Game Description
Framed for the accidental death of the Prince years ago, you’ve been living under the radar since the Crown ordered your death. After dodging a recent attempt on your life, you find a contract on the assassin’s body that raises many questions – was it just misfortune that you were framed? Or is there more to it? Determined to find the answers, you journey back to the very place you escaped.
You become the Bellwright by leading a rebellion against your homeland’s oppressive Sovereign, uncovering the truth of your family’s secret. Assist villagers, establish and expand your settlement, and recruit others to your cause while learning more about a life you had to leave behind.
Your recruits will help you build up the resources and might need for a stand against the Crown. Command your forces, prove your courage through melee combat, and cement yourself as the hero of your people

I have been a fan of Mount & Blade and recently Medieval Dynasty when I saw this trailer, I fell in love because who doesn’t want to start building a village, raise an army, and create your legacy on these medieval lands? The world of Bellwright looks beautiful and full of many different opportunities to create in the way you want it. I am looking forward to playing this game either solo and be as creative as I can while building my army, or joining up with friends to embark on many adventures.
