Nightingale is an exciting and highly anticipated PVE survival-crafting game currently being developed and published by Inflexion Games. The game takes players on a thrilling adventure into the mysterious and enchanting world of Faewilds, where they can uncover a plethora of secrets, explore beautiful landscapes, and fight to survive against a variety of dangers. Set within a Victorian gaslamp fantasy world, the game can be played either solo or with up to 5 friends, making it a perfect choice for those who enjoy both solo and team-based gameplay. To progress, players must traverse the Realms, unlocking new portals to explore new destinations by crafting Realm Cards, build and customize their own estates, and fight against a variety of enemies to survive.
Originally Nightingale was supposed to be released on February 22nd in Early Access, but now the new Release date is set to February 20th, two days earlier. After a successful open-stress server test on February 2nd, up to 48,000 players got a sneak peek of the survival-crafting game world. I also had a chance to dive into the open stress test and I have to say the World of Nightingale is one game I am looking forward to and could be one of my top 5 open world survival games of 2024, there were so many to explore, so much to build, unexpected monsters lurking around the corners, and secrets.
“Having the game release at the start of the week not only allows our community to get into the game earlier but also gives us time to address any launch issues ahead of what’s sure to be a busy weekend,” says Inflexion Games CEO, Aaryn Flynn. “All in all, we’re excited to get the portal network up ahead of schedule.”
Exploring the world of Faewilds will feel magical both solo and with friends, I am a big fan when it comes to building, and with that in mind, I can’t wait to bring out my creativity and create a new home that is full of creatures lurking in every corner. During the open stress test, I mostly explored for a bit and fought animals and magical creatures and I have to say the combat was so much fun from using melee weapons to my guns. I think when it comes to boss fights, it will not be easy at all and I am afraid to do it alone so I might recruit some of my friends to help out when the time comes.
Will you take the vein and enter the world of Faewilds alone or with your friends on launch day for Nightingale?
