With Millennials being fans of the golden years and craving to replay games they had great nostalgia for, the video game industry has continued to release remastered versions of some of the most popular titles. In 2024 alone, there are over 40 remastered titles/collections set to be released. Most notably, games like Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, Until Dawn, Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered, Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, and the Silent Hill 2 Remake are the most anticipated remasters of 2024.

Despite the game not being officially released until next week, copies of the game and reviews have been spotted in the wild. With Silent Hill 2 Remake Deluxe Edition ($79.99), gamers can play the game early on October 6th.
