When the Nintendo Switch first launched, fans had limited controller options. There were the Joy-Cons and the more traditional Pro Controller. Here we are 7 years post-launch, and the situation couldn’t be any more different. The third-party accessory makers have been hard at work, conjuring up a multitude of different controllers. Some sought to compete against the Joy-Cons, others went for a more retro vibe, whereas most tended to take a more traditional approach.
This is where BINBOK’s latest offering, the Ultra Pro Controller Hall Effect Edition comes into play. This update to last year’s Ultra Pro Controller has all the features, with the added quality of life improvement of Hall Effect joysticks. After spending over a month stress testing the controller with a variety of different games, I can confidently say it’s a worthy contender to Nintendo’s official Pro Controller. Check out the full review below:
I went into this controller thinking ‘There’s no way I’ll love it’ and after using it for a month straight as my main controller, I have to say I was wrong.
The BINBOK Ultra Pro Hall Effect Edition Controller is available now for $59.99 USD. Those interested can purchase their own at BINBOK’s official website.
