Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas (Nintendo Switch) Review

Let’s get this out of the way at the very start, Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas is very much inspired by the Legend of Zelda franchise. There is no hiding this fact, but this really isn’t a bad thing. Oceanhorn does enough to set it apart and earn its own identity, even if it isn’t a perfect ride. Through the nine or so hours it took me to complete Oceanhorn’s campaig...[Read More]

I anticipated struggling and going back and forth with certain titles, but when it came down to it, my answer was already firmly decided. Super Mario Odyssey is, ...[Read More]

E3 2017: Detroit: Become Human Hands-On

Quantic Dream has a special place in my heart. Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls were experiences that I still think about to this day. The amount of control and choice felt real and the consequences even more so. That’s why when Detroit: Become Human was announced, it quickly rose near the top of my most anticipated games. At E3 2017, I was finally able to try the game for myself and see if it wou...[Read More]
