Fear: we were introduced to the mechanical group that would haunt us down in our nightmares, and presumably their origins. Panic: we were striped to our core, being hunted down by a single animatronic that would not stop. Dread: we brought our fears home, and created lasting theories about if the games were even real or not. Now, it is the time for the greatest of the four emotions presented: terr...[Read More]
It seems like a monthly tradition for us here at Marooners’ Rock, as well as other news sources, that in the week leading up to the end of a month, someway, somehow, Microsoft leaks the next month’s Games with Gold listing. Every month, the games revealed turn out to be true. This month’s leak has me… leery. To say the least. You’ll see why.
We all remember our first time. NO, I’m not talking about that. Well. Sort of. I’m talking about our first romantic visual novel. I can more than likely tell you what you don’t remember. That’s that the visual novel was also a dungeon crawling RPG. I may be willing to put money down on that, to be honest. Enter Undead Darlings ~no cure for love~. Last year it started its trek on Kickstarter, but u...[Read More]
I play a lot of Rocket League. I play a lot of Rocket League with friends. Our favorite way to get a quick laugh: Spam “Wow” after anything happens, or even when nothing is happening. Yes, we are grown adults, and yes it can usually leave us in tears from laughing so hard. Something that I always wanted was the ability to move the chat options around, maybe even have some new ones for ease and to ...[Read More]
After the failed shaky release of Five Nights at Freddy’s World earlier this year, Scott Cawthon has been a little quiet. We all know that when things get quiet, it is only time until they get spooky. Allow the spookiness to commence.
The world will never cease to amaze me. We have feats like deep fried oreos, video games that are so immersive they will make you pee yourself, and now, an Xbox One that has been set up to run Windows 95. Are we at the pinnacle of humanity? Doubtful, but this is really neat.
Alright all you wanna-be assassin’s, the time is here. On Jimmy Kimmel tonight, they showed off the Assassin’s Creed movie World Premiere Trailer. To be honest, the only real negative complain I have seen is the music choice, which is none other than, that’s right you absolutely guessed it, Kanye West’s I am a God. Wait. Um. Well. Moving On.
Earlier this year, Nintendo and Gamefreak teased us for the Pokemon 20th Anniversary by announcing Pokemon Sun and Moon. No information was announced, other than it was coming this Holiday season. The hype was almost too much to contain. Today, we were shown the Region, Starters, Legendaries, and the actual release date! Let’s immediately jump into the wonderful world of Pokemon Sun and Moon!
After last week’s game update, Rock Band 4 DLC is back! However, there is one slight difference with this week’s (and according to the Rock Band 4 Facebook page, this month) DLC release. We’re only getting two songs. That’s the bummer news. The good news is that they are legitimately good tracks that most rock fans know! \m/
Many of you may know Phil Tippett. He is responsible for some of the most famous CG and Stop motion creatures that we all know, such as the fish for Piranha, the AT-AT Walkers and Tauntauns for The Empire Strikes Back and he was even the Dinosaur Supervisor for Jurassic Park and Dinosaur Consultant for Jurassic World. (Damn it Phil, you had one job. Yet you didn’t supervise the dinosaurs. This is ...[Read More]
First, I am going to start off with a request to put on your Speculation Helmets, folks. This is nowhere near being confirmed but signs are pointing to a possible truth! This morning, Game Freak trademarked a few names for possible Pokemon. Three, to be more precise. Of these three, signs point to fire, water, and grass bases. Yeah, that sounds like new starters to me.
May the Fourth be with you, all! Today, on what has become national Star Wars Day, Respawn Entertainment, makers of the original Titanfall, has announced that they will be embarking on a new journey, one that leads them to a galaxy far, far away. That is right, folks! They are partnering with Lucasfilm Ltd and Electronic Arts to deliver a new adventure! Not many details about the title were reveal...[Read More]
