It had been speculated that Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 would have a companion app of sorts. Rockstar later confirmed this and they have now updated their site with new information on what the app will entail.

Today, Rockstar updated their website with more information on the various usable weapons in Red Dead Redemption 2, as well as the weapon customization that. According to Rockstar, there will be over 50 usable weapons, each with their own specific characteristics. On top of that, there will also be different ammo types that can be crafted throughout, such as high-velocity and explosive rounds.
Today, Gearbox just announced that their critically acclaimed shooter, Borderlands 2, is getting the virtual reality treatment, and is set to release this year for PlayStation VR. VR editions of popular AAA games isn’t anything new for the industry, so this doesn’t come as a surprise. While showcasing the upcoming Fallout 76, Bethesda had stated that the game will feature a B.E.T.A. (Break-It Early Test Application) prior to release. Today, Bethesda announced the dates of the B.E.T.A., which begins October 23 for Xbox One exclusively, and then on October 30 for PC and Playstation 4.
There were multiple aspects that made the original Red Dead Redemption such a classic. One of those was the ecosystem and lands brimming with animals of all manner. If you never were slapped down a mountain by a ninja grizzly bear, you truly didn’t get the Red Dead experience.
