Happy April 1st! Today our first Achievement April begins and we hope you’re all excited! As promised some of the prizes will be revealed today but keep checking back as the month goes on as we will (hopefully) have more awesome things for you guys and gals to win.
Last month Square Enix announced that a sequel to Final Fantasy XIII would be coming out later this year. While that news was met with applause from some, it also produced a few winces.
Today the first picture of Adrianne Palicki in her Wonder Woman outfit hit the Internet courtesy of EW, and only one word comes to mind – shiny. Yes, there are two other things that are slightly distracting (let’s be honest here people…), but overall everything is really well done.
Portal 2 is almost a month away and Valve wants to make sure you don’t forget it! Coming soon to TVs everywhere are GLaDOS and her robot friends in a new trailer commercial for the much-anticipated sequel to the highly-revered Portal. I’m a sucker for cute things, and these robots are definitely to my liking.
When I think of Konami my mind doesn’t go towards the FPS genre at all, so when I found out that they were teaming up with Saber Interactive to create Battle: Los Angeles, a FPS based off of the (supposedly) horrible movie of the same name, I got a bit worried. Yeah Konami is the same company behind the Metal Gear franchise, but last time I checked gamers aren’t going all Master Chief ...[Read More]
Remember that guy Antoine Dodson who became an Internet sensation when he called out the guys who broke into his house and tried to rape his sister? No? How about the Bed Intruder song where, thanks to the ungodly horror that is auto-tune, Antoine tells us all to hide our kids and hide our wives? That’s what I thought… it’s stuck in your head now, isn’t it?
Very rarely do I regret not having a PS3 simply because I adore my 360. Today Sony Online Entertainment and Fire Hose Games released Slam Bolt Scrappers for PSN and I’m green with envy because I don’t get to play it. The game has ass-kicking, puzzles, and lasers! LASERS!
Just when we thought the music genre was dead Ubisoft announces today that they are coming out with a new guitar based game called Rocksmith. I know what you all must be thinking, “how is this any different than Rock Band or Guitar Hero?” Well, for starters you use an actual guitar to play and not some plastic peripheral. Pretty cool, no?
Over the past several months I’ve played a couple Nancy Drew games, but they were always for the PC. When I heard that a new Drew game called Shadow Ranch would be hitting iTunes I was curious to see how the PC gameplay would be implemented on a smaller scale. I was surprised when I was presented with a proper story rather than a hidden-object/puzzle game, but that’s not necessarily a ...[Read More]
Most gamers who played the original Beyond Good & Evil back in 2003 have fond memories of it. I was never one of those individuals. I can recall seeing the cases on the shelves inside the GameStops I worked at, but the game never appealed to me. There was something about it that led to me having zero interest in ever playing it, and it was only until the recent House Part XBLA announcement whe...[Read More]
Very rarely does a game based on a movie turn out to be good. Most of the time the graphics are atrocious, the gameplay is stagnant, and the game itself should’ve been scrapped. EA’s latest offering, Rango: The Video Game, is the exact opposite of that and gave me, hands down, one of the best gaming experiences I’ve had in a long time.
We’re back! Come join us for some crazy trivia fun this Friday, March 11th starting at 7 PM PST! You Don’t Know Jack is absolutely hilarious so we hope you guys and gals are excited for this one!
