I am real bad at stealth games, but I can’t tell you how many times I died in Dishonored, or fell right into a bunch of guards in Assassin’s Creed. While I’ve played a bit of the older Hitman games from Square Enix I am usually not to subtle with all the killing. Hitman is back for the new generation of consoles and like its predecessors, it is trying something different. Is this good? Well that...[Read More]
I’ve been hearing about The Banner Saga since it’s initial PC release back in 2014. I’m not the biggest PC gamer but I love hearing about all the new games that come out. So when I found out that The Banner Saga was coming to Xbox One and Playstation 4 I was thrilled that I, and other console gamers, would have the chance to finally play it.

I saw The Peanuts Movie in the theater when it released last year and I was very happy with it. It was a great homage to the old cartoons I watched as a child and seemed to really pay tribute to it’s roots all while making the movie feel modern.
Lovely Planet from Quicktequila and Tiny Build Games is strange, wonderful, and one of the best games I’ve played this year. At first glance you won’t know what to expect when Lovely Planet starts. The catchy jazz soundtrack mixed with pastel colors makes you feel like you’ve stumbled into a new first-person view of a Katamari Damacy level. Almost immediately the game turns all your expectations a...[Read More]
Nostalgia can be a funny thing. Sometimes I’ll pop in an old movie to show Tifa and say something like, “I LOVED this movie when I was younger.” I, like many gamers my age, grew up playing the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series. I’ll never forget getting that Pizza Hut demo disc that had the first Tony Hawk game on it. The sounds of early 90s punk blaring through my TV speakers, playing as skate legend T...[Read More]

ID@Xbox has been pumping out amazing games since it’s inception and Penarium is no different. A mix of platformer and puzzle, this game will challenge you to the very end. At least I think it does. I’ll admit now that par...[Read More]

Everyone loves a good puzzle game. I know I do. I beat both Portals on multiple platforms and games like Pnuema: Breath of Life both satisfy and infurate me. It’s these puzzle games that make you feel foolish when you can’t solve a puzzle, but give one of the greatest feelings of satisfaction once you figure it out. Q.U.B.E. has a simple premise: use high-tech gloves to move bits of your environme...[Read More]
