With the August 3rd DVD release of the fourth and final season of NBC’s ‘Heroes‘, I’ve been forced to reminisce about the show that in many ways changed my life.

Earlier this month, we saw the first look at Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern courtesy of Entertainment Weekly’s cover shot. News has hit that the suit seen there is not the final suit design for the film, which is a huge weight off my shoulders. Unfortunately, we have also heard that the white gloves will not be making an appearance. Anyway, to business (To business!).

On Friday, May 14th, it was announced that the bastards at NBC pulled the plug on Heroes. NBC has been doing a lot of stupid things lately (don’t even get me started on the whole Conan bit…) so I suppose we can add this to their long list of fuck-ups.
