Halo + Inception = WIN

After participating in the multi-player beta for Halo: Reach, I wanted nothing with the game. Now, thanks to the song “Mind Heist” from the Inception trailers, and the awesomeness of Transcendence Films, I want to play Reach right this second.

Ryu Hayabusa in a Mario game?

For awhile now, hacks on classic games have been really popular. Some are downright genius, whereas others are for laughs. Super Mario Bros. Crossover is the latest project by Jay Pavlina, founder of a production company called Exploding Rabbit, and easily falls into the aforementioned genius category.

Soundgarden’s ‘Telephantasm’ Free for Guitar Hero buyers

A few minutes ago, I was on Twitter and something caught my eye: a tweet from One of Swords about Soundgarden. Having been a fan for almost two decades, I had to read on some more. What I stumbled upon via his blog was something so magical, and so incredible I just had to share it with you all.

The Sims Gets Medieval On Your Ass

Review: Castlevania: Harmony of Despair

As soon as Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (HD) was announced, I knew I would be purchasing it, regardless of the price.  Now, some of you may point to that statement and call my objectivity in reviewing the game into question.  Allow me to reassure you that I will be completely objective by asking you to keep in mind the heartache caused by the crushing of a man’s hopes and dreams. Join Our Forums

A long time ago Chris and I created some forums, and they were pretty awesome. Unfortunately they went dead, like the site did for awhile. Blogathon 2010 Complete

Well, ladies and gents, our 2010 blogathon in support of One Love for Chi has come to an end.  This means I can thankfully, mercifully, joyously go to sleep.  But first, a few things to wrap-up.

Recommended Listening: Raffi

If you recognize who Raffi is, but think that I must surely be talking about a different Raffi, well, you’re wrong.  And don’t call me Shirley (nyuk nyuk nyuk).  I am indeed talking about the children’s entertainer Raffi, best known for one particular song (at least, best known by me).

Recommended Listening: Voodoo Glow Skulls

It’s almost 5:00am now, and I started running out of different ways to start talking about bands hours ago.  With this in mind, I decided to just skip the yakety-yak crap and get straight to the point: Voodoo Glow Skulls.  Bam.

Recommended Listening: The Suicide Machines

Did I mention I like ska-core?  I’m especially a huge fan of 90s-era ska-core and third-wave ska.  I remember listening to The Suicide Machines debut album, Destruction by Definition, when it came out in 1996.  It was quite an experience.
