After participating in the multi-player beta for Halo: Reach, I wanted nothing with the game. Now, thanks to the song “Mind Heist” from the Inception trailers, and the awesomeness of Transcendence Films, I want to play Reach right this second.
For awhile now, hacks on classic games have been really popular. Some are downright genius, whereas others are for laughs. Super Mario Bros. Crossover is the latest project by Jay Pavlina, founder of a production company called Exploding Rabbit, and easily falls into the aforementioned genius category.
Today only, fans of the Mumbo Jumbo game LUXOR can get the game for free through the iTunes App Store. I’ve already downloaded it for my iPhone, but those with an iPad or an iPod Touch can take advantage of this great deal as well.
A few minutes ago, I was on Twitter and something caught my eye: a tweet from One of Swords about Soundgarden. Having been a fan for almost two decades, I had to read on some more. What I stumbled upon via his blog was something so magical, and so incredible I just had to share it with you all.
If you don’t know what The Sims is, I don’t think I can help you. In fact, if you’ve never at least heard of The Sims, I would suggest you’re on the wrong website. You might do better with knit.com or catchannel.com. But if you do know what The Sims is, and you look forward to new iterations of the game, then by all means, read on.
As soon as Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (HD) was announced, I knew I would be purchasing it, regardless of the price. Now, some of you may point to that statement and call my objectivity in reviewing the game into question. Time and time again I’ve mentioned my hatred for MMORPG’s, and how I prefer console over PC. So, it might seem rather strange that here I am, reviewing one. Actually, it’s not so strange. Why? Because Heroes of Three Kingdoms takes place during one of my favorite periods of Chinese history.
I hope you will allow me to preface this review by making a few things clear (you don’t really have a choice in the matter anyway, to be perfectly honest). First, the last Sam & Max game I played was over 15 years ago in the form of Sam & Max Hit the Road, by LucasArts. Second, TellTale Games was kind enough to provide a copy of not only Beyond the Alley of the Dolls, but also copi...[Read More]
So Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty came out earlier this week; Just another PC game with no expectations, no fan base, and no legacy to live up to. All kidding aside, the multiplayer gave us a pretty good idea of how Starcraft II was going to play. What we didn’t know, however, is the amount of polish that awaited us in the campaign.
