Why I’m Excited For Metroid: Samus Returns

I’m going to start out and say it, I’ve never been a fan of the Metroid series.  The games are long and confusing to navigate, and did I mention, hard? Yeah, not a huge fan of playing Metroid games, and Metroid: Samus Returns may change my mind.

Just when I was getting ready to go to a different stream, Reggie Fils-Aime comes on stage at the Nintendo Treehouse and shakes what I knew about Nintendo outside of their Direct videos. A new 2D Metroid game has just been announced, ironically enough as a remake of Metroid 2: Return of Samus that recently got a fan remake. Metroid: Samus Returns is headed to the Nintendo 3DS this September.

Super Mario Maker (3DS) Review

Super Mario Maker was a marvel back on the Wii U. When it arrived last year, it rejuvenated the console in all the right ways, with online sharing abilities, tons of tools to use to your advantage, amiibo support and a lot of other features. More importantly, it was a game that made it just as much fun to create as it was to play.

Pokemon’s 20th Anniversary Draws to a Close

What a wild year we have had as Pokemon fans. Every month we got a Mythical Pokemon re-released, plus collectibles. We got Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow re-released. We got Pokemon Go. However, the Pokemon Company is at least ending with an beautiful high...[Read More]
