Ubisoft is definitely going into E3 with their heads held high. After the massive success of Assassin’s Creed Origins in 2017 and Far Cry 5 earlier this year, the developer is gaining a ton of momentum heading into E3 2018. Ubisoft has just announced that their E3 2018 Press Conference will take palce at the Orpheum Theatre on June 11 at 1:00 p.m. PT.
Assassin’s Creed Origins was without a doubt one of the most impressive open world titles of 2017, and my personal pick of Game of the Year. When it was announced there would be two DLC story expansions, it immediately peaked my interest. Even after spending 50 hours in the base game, I still wanted another excuse to jump back into Ancient Egypt. The first of these two expansions is The Hidden One...[Read More]
I think I speak for many when I say I’m so stoked to jump back into the world of Assassin’s Creed: Origins. Origins was my favorite title of 2017 and I’m more than happy to go on yet another adventure in Ancient Egypt with Bayek. In my review I gave the game an 8.9 and stated how this was the game that put the AC franchise back on course. The Hidden Ones, the first of two story e...[Read More]
I’ll be the first to admit that I had given up on the Assassin’s Creed series. The last game in the franchise that I actually purchased was Black Flag, which many fans will say is when the series peaked. Ubisoft then took a huge hit in credibility with Unity, which was an ambitious title, to say the least, but overall a complete mess of a game at launch. A year later we had Syndicate, which is act...[Read More]

PAX West is only a week away and Ubisoft has finally announced their show floor lineup. Be one of the first fans to do some aerial dogfighting and take out cultists in a hands on demo of Farcry 5. If that’s not exciting enough, how about a competition open to everyone for a chance to win a special Farcry 5 Pinny Arcade pin! You and seven competitors will tame the great outdoors in, you guess...[Read More]

At Xbox’s Pre-Gamescom briefing, Ubisoft unveiled a brand new CGI trailer that dives deep into the world of Assassin’s Creed Origins. Besides showing the beautiful and mysterious land of Ancient Egypt in great detail, we get glimpses of some famous historical figures that main character, Bayek, will be interacting with, namely Cleopatra and Ptolemy.
While playing the new demo for Assassin’s Creed Origins on Xbox One X, one of the developers from Ubisoft Montreal kept talking how he loved the hippos that inhabited this region. So, after starting my Egyptian journey as one of the first of the Assassins, Bayek, my one mission was to find these majestic beasts.
When it comes to the almost annual Assassin’s Creed franchise, I’ve always reserved my excitement. I thought the first game was a phenomenal idea and I even enjoyed Assassin’s Creed 2. However, I lost touch with these games shortly after trying out Brotherhood, finding most of them to be the same song and dance. For many players, this was the case as well. Ubisoft also lost a bun...[Read More]
