E3 2011: Prey 2

Prey 2 is not Prey. It became clear at the Bethesda E3 Prey 2 screening that the portal and gravity mechanics that made up most of the core gameplay of Prey were not returning for the sequel. Earlier this month I gushed about my undying love for Quake. Well guess how excited I was when I got to actually play Quake Arena Arcade…ridiculously excited. Quake, whether you care to admit it or not, is an iconic game so it was great to see some old school love on the 360.

Quake Arena Arcade Coming to XBLA in 2 Days

I love Quake. My favorite Quake of all time was Quake III: Revolution for the PS2. It was fun, it was violent, and I loved everything about it. Hearing that Bethesda is bringing Quake Arena Arcade to XBLA is like being a kid and hearing that Santa is getting ready to come down your chimney and deliver presents.

Bethesda Announces The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

If you had a chance to watch the 2010 Video Game Awards on Spike TV this past Saturday, count yourself slightly fortunate. While the awards show itself was dreadful, there were some fantastic announcements. Obviously, the news of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim falls into that category.
