Sandwiches

I love sandwiches.  They’re easy to eat, they taste phenomenal (if done right), they look cool, and they taste phenomenal (if done right).  What brings up the topic of sandwiches, you might ask?  Well, I’m eating one right now, and I felt like gloating about it. I have a huge, delicious deli sandwich on a plate next to me.  I’m taking quick breaks between sentences to savor and c...[Read More]

Maintenance Man

Last week we got a note on our door that the maintenance guys would be coming in our apartment for some routine stuff – changing air filters, checking smoke alarms, etc. Basic shit. Well, they never came. On Tuesday or Wednesday we got another notice saying that they were coming on Friday, yesterday, instead. Around 1, I heard some voices around and I poked my head out of the door. I saw the...[Read More]

Commercial Ringtone Alarm

Many of you know that Chris and I both have iPhones. Both of ours are jailbroken, but mine is unlocked since I use it on T-Mobile. Looking through Icy a week or two ago, I saw some ringtones of commercial jingles. I saw that the two packs contained the jingles to Fanta, Mentos, Hershey’s, K9 Advantix, Geico, Old Spice, and Snickers  so I downloaded both packs. Chris had to wake up early the ...[Read More]

Depeche Mode

I love Depeche Mode. I have ever since I was a child, and right now I’m listening to them. Currently “Enjoy the Silence” is playing through my PC speakers. Some of my favorite songs are “Personal Jesus”, “Policy of Truth”, “I Feel You”, “Barrel of a Gun”, “Dirt”, and “A Pain That I’m Used To.” youtube::...[Read More]

My Breakfast

Yes, I am blogging about my breakfast. Yes, you can start assuming that I am already running out of things to blog about… but you would be WRONG! I am in a sharing mood today, and I view that by blogging about my breakfast, I am bringing you all one step closer into my sick and twisted world 🙂 This morning, I decided to have some Peanut Butter Cap’n Crunch. It’s a delicious cerea...[Read More]

Moogle and the Sink

As our cute kitten Moogle is growing, she is getting more and more curious. One of her recent fascinations is the bathroom sink since she can easily access it. Her first experience with the sink wasn’t a good one seeing that it was meant to get her wet as a punishment for doing something really bad, I can’t remember exactly what now, so at first she was really apprehensive. My other ca...[Read More]

Good Morning!

As you already know by now today is the Blogathon. I was so excited over it that I couldn’t sleep! Chris has been taking on the posts starting at 6:00 AM, and since he is at work, I figured I would step in right now to relieve him. There is a lot going on today for us, as he already mentioned in a previous post, so we will be doing the Blogathon in shifts. For my shift, I will be mixing thin...[Read More]

My Watch

Last year for Valentine’s Day, Lindsey bought me a watch.  It was not just any watch, however.  This was a Stuhrling Original. Isn’t it awesome? It’s difficult to see it in the photo, but the back panel of the watch is clear.  You are able to see straight through the mechanical workings of the watch!  It’s completely mechanical, but it’s also self winding.  There̵...[Read More]

MehCast Schedule Update

Good morning!  We’re very sorry that we had to miss last night’s MehCast, but with the Blogathon, a wedding celebration party for Lindsey and I tonight, and two of my very good friends coming in to town to stay with us for the weekend, we had quite a lot going on! I spent most of Wednesday night, Thursday night, and Friday afternoon at my mom’s house helping her clean up for the ...[Read More]

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Partial Review)

On Wednesday evening, once Lindsey had finished her runthrough of Overlord II on our Xbox 360 (she should have a review up today), we headed to Blockbuster to trade it in for X-Men Origins: Wolverine.  I played the demo not so long ago, and fell in love with the graphics, the gameplay, and the way Wolverine’s abilities were depicted.  I started the game and was not disappointed. Since I have...[Read More]

The Farthest Shore

The Farthest Shore is the final tale in the Earthsea Cycle, and satisfactorily brings Ged’s story to a conclusion.  The Farthest Shore picks up the tale approximately two decades after the conclusion of The Tombs of Atuan. The Farthest Shore sees the peace that Ged brought Earthsea after the events of The Tombs of Atuan beginning to deteriorate after the magic of Earthsea begins to fail.  Th...[Read More]

The Tombs of Atuan

The Tombs of Atuan is the second book in the Earthsea Cycle, continuing the story of A Wizard of Earthsea a few years after its events.  The book moves its focus, however, onto a new main character, while placing Ged in the role of a supporting character. The Tombs of Atuan is a similar coming of age style story.  The main character, Tenar, also known as Arha, is raised believing in one ideal only...[Read More]
