I’m going to start out and say it, I’ve never been a fan of the Metroid series. The games are long and confusing to navigate, and did I mention, hard? Yeah, not a huge fan of playing Metroid games, and Metroid: Samus Returns may change my mind.
Konami has announced that its recently revealed Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be releasing on PC along with its Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. The Windows PC version is being worked on by Madrid-based Mercury System, and builds upon its predecessor. The new game will feature a new storyline, a larger cast of characters, and breath-taking graphics. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is set ...[Read More]
Like I said, my first look at the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 trailer came with no knowledge of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate’s existence or storyline. I was certain that the warrior challenging Dracula at the end could be none other than Alucard, and as I did a bit of research, I discovered similar speculation revolving around a title called Castlevania: Lords of Sh...[Read More]
Even now, nearly two years after its release, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is a beautiful game. I watched my wife play through the entire game, through the ending (which I have to assume has been sufficiently spoiled by the new Lords of Shadow 2 trailer released by Konami in the lead-up to E3 last week). I actually looked up the definition of reverie before writing this. It means to enter a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts. So the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow ending. Confusing, right? It just came out of nowhere and then… ended. It raised more questions than it did provide satisfying answers. Well, now some of those questions are getting answered. Konami is releasing two DLC packs for Lords of Shadow that will serve as epilogues to the game.

If you answered yes to that then you obviously have some real odd preferences on where you want to live. Haunted castles aren’t prime retail spots. But hey, Konami thinks that you want your place to have an evil breakfast nook. Who am I to argue?
Today Konami released an epic 11 minute trailer for the upcoming Castlevania Lords of Shadow game. I’m already excited like crazy for the game, so this only further solidifies the millions of reasons why Lords of Shadow needs to be in my hands right this second.
You know what goes great with a new epic trailer? Some epic new screen shots.
Hot damn does this thing have Hideo Kojima’s hands all over it. Prepare your bodies for nearly eight minutes of epicness!
