EVERSPACE 2 Adds Zharkov: The Vortex in July
A major content update is coming to EVERSPACE 2 next month. Today, developer ROCKFISH Games released an early look at the second major Early Access addition to the popular space combat sim. The update, now known as “Zharkov: The Vortex” will add a third star system, more story, and new natural hazards and weapon types.

ROCKFISH Games Reveals EVERSPACE 2 Gameplay Trailer and Commentary at gamescom 2020
A lot of news came out of gamescom 2020’s fully digital event last week. For space sim fans, some of the biggest news might have gotten overshadowed as ROCKFISH Games released some tasty new EVERSPACE 2 details, including a fully functional cockpit view, and more details about the game’s upcoming Steam Early Access release.
EVERSPACE 2 Updates Release Schedule
Fresh off a big PAX East, the team behind EVERSPACE 2 unleashed a major news update announcing a new timeline for the game, and showing off some lovely concept art of the various fighter cockpits players can expect to spend time in. The update also highlights a redesign to the Assault Fighter and some other design progress on the game.
EVERSPACE 2 Hands-On Preview
We got a kick out of the original EVERSPACE when it hit consoles and PCs a few years ago. The mix of fast-paced space combat, ship upgrades, roguelike progression, and interesting story beats made for a fresh take on the space combat genre, while still retaining some pleasant familiarities. Now the sequel is live on Kickstarter with an ambitious EU €450,000 (about $499,000) goal.
