I know. It’s the question that’s been asked numerous times over the last 2 to 3 years. Every big convention many gamers and media outlets always ask, “Is Gearbox going to finally reveal Borderlands 3 at…?” At every E3 and PAX convention, we are proven to be wrong. Well, I think it’s safe to say PAX East 2019 is finally the time with some recent news.
Gearbox Software has announced that Borderlands 2 VR is now available on PlayStation®VR for $49.99. Fans in North America can also purchase the brand new PS VR bundle—which includes a copy of Borderlands 2 VR, a PlayStation VR unit, all the essential peripherals, and an additional game—for $349.99 starting today. Today, Gearbox just announced that their critically acclaimed shooter, Borderlands 2, is getting the virtual reality treatment, and is set to release this year for PlayStation VR. VR editions of popular AAA games isn’t anything new for the industry, so this doesn’t come as a surprise. Luckily, Gearbox promises that this is a complete rework of the game developed in-house by them.
Developer Holospark recently announced their new cooperative team-shooter, Earthfall, is being released digitally on July 13 for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Steam for $29.99.
