Epic Games held an event at the Game Developer’s Conference (GDC) in San Francisco. Among the speakers was Randy Pitchford, who showed some new technology that Gearbox is working with. Now we all know Borderlands 3 is going to happen, as Gearbox has made little teases here and there. They just have not made an official announcement as of yet. At GDC, Pitchford showed us more of what Borderla...[Read More]
Anyone who grew up in the nineties has uttered the words “Hail to the king baby,” at one time or another. We grew up in an era where CD-roms were all the rage and you either were the kid with all the games, or you went to your friends house because they had all the games. My family was pretty late to the game getting a computer, but when we did, you can bet that I tried to get as many games as pos...[Read More]
Earlier this year during Pax East, Gearbox’s CEO Randy Pitchford teased that there would “obviously be another Borderlands title but he was not certain if it would be called Borderlands 3.
Gearbox fans rejoice! Not only is Battleborn less than a month away, but Borderlands is getting another entry in the well-loved franchise. This will be the first time Gearbox themselves have worked in the Borderlands universe since the second game, meaning all qualms with the Pre-Sequel many hardcore fans had should be eradicated. Recently, Sproing Interactive and dtp entertainment released Dance! It’s Your Stage for Xbox Live Arcade. Having already released the game for PC and Nintendo Wii, I was curious as to how it would play on the 360.
Today, the Game of the Year Edition of Borderlands came out for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. If you haven’t picked up a copy (in which you should to get early access to the Duke Nukem Forever demo), 2K Games and Gearbox Software have put out a video that should be enough incentive for you.
Duke Nukem Forever is a game that, well, it felt like it would never come out. Earlier this year it was confirmed that the first sign of the Apocalypse has occurred, and that Forever would be released in 2011. For those who can’t wait at getting their hands on a game that’s taken over a decade to be released, check this out.
In Borderlands, that is. Not in the real world. No, never in the real world…
