Review: City Story (iOS)

For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been playing this little addictive game called City Story. I know, it was only a few months ago where I ranted about Facebook Games like Farmville, but this is on the iPhone, so it’s different! City Story, the latest from TeamLava, is not only fun, but it’s free! If there is one thing in live I absolutely love, it’s when something is free.

Interview: John Kooistra of Cat in a Box Games

If you remember, last week Chris wrote a review about a game called Fastar!, a quirky, fun, throwback to the epic NES RPG days. The minds behind Fastar!, and the App Store hit Blue Defense, are Cat in a Box Games. John Kooistra, the main cheese on the team, was kind enough to sit down with us for an interview.

Review: Astro Dodge, Bloody Trampoline, Dream Wife (iOS)

We love iPhones.  We love playing games on our iPhones.  Imagine, then, our pure, unadulterated, unapologetic glee when we received three additional iPhone game codes for review.  If you can’t imagine it, allow me to elucidate: it was spectacular.  Perhaps I exaggerate, but if I do, it is only for the benefit of our intelligent, attractive, loyal readers.  And the rest of you, too.  On to th...[Read More]

Review: Wedding Dash 4-Ever

A while ago I announced the upcoming sequel to the Wedding Dash franchise, Wedding Dash 4-Ever. Having only played the iPhone version before, I thought I could easily get through this game without any trouble. Boy was I wrong.

iPhone 4 Reception Demonstration Reaction

Last week, Apple held a short-notice press conference regarding the antenna-based reception problems of the new iPhone 4.  During this press conference, the results of a competitor comparison were presented, showing that the iPhone 4 reception issue is not unique to the iPhone 4, but that it is, in fact, found in many other leading smartphone devices from various manufacturers.  Needless to say, t...[Read More]

Apple iPhone 4 Press Conference

Just over a month ago, the iPhone 4 was officially announced.  Since its release, there have been complaints about the functionality of the new antenna design.  After telling people they were simply holding it wrong, and that it was partially a software issue, Apple held a press conference today to make an official statement on the issue, starting with this:

Review: Chocolatier: Sweet Society (FB)

For the past 48 hours, I’ve been binging on Chocolatier: Sweet Society by PlayFirst for Facebook. I’m already hooked, and I know that no good can come of this. I know, it was only a couple of weeks ago where I ranted about people playing games on Facebook, but I stayed true to my word and I haven’t been flooding my friends with status updates. Had I chosen to do that, my friends ...[Read More]
