At Marooners’ Rock, we love it when we get the chance to get creative with our questions. I recently had the chance to send five questions to Will Seunghwan Sin, the project manager of one of our favorite games from PAX East this year, MISTOVER.

On Monday of the E3 week, we got to smash, crash, and bash our foes in the rebooted classic Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled. Prior to this hands-on preview, I had only once played Crash Team Racing. As a child, I would typically play Mario Kart as my main racing title of choice until purchasing a PS2 and learning about Juiced and Need for Speed. At PAX East 2019, Andrew got to preview the rebooted...[Read More]

The battle for air supremacy on the Nintendo Switch is heating up. With its hybrid uses, the Switch seems to be seeing ever more ports from other platforms. The latest entrant into the airspace is the Air Conflicts Collection from Kalypso Media.

The Nintendo Switch marked major changes in Nintendo’s support for small developers, but for some genre fans, the little console/handheld hybrid that could is always going to be missing some big name titles. This past Friday night, I was invited to NIS America’s showcase of their games for 2019. Let’s take a look at what you could be playing this year. I could try and pitch each game at you, but that’s why the kind people at NIS were able to do with this showcase and announcement video, followed by streamed playing. Not all games in the showcase were available for demo, but there was...[Read More]
Some of us here at Marooners’ Rock grow up playing with Tamagotchi’s or owning the games NintenDogs and NintendCats. I even remember at one point playing a PC game in which you took care of a Cat or Dog. I had to do a little research while typing this that the gamers were called Catz and Dogz, which now has me feeling a bit old. This is after watching some old gameplay of those two tit...[Read More]
