We may have mentioned Duke Nukem Forever at one time or another here at Marooners’ Rock. It is a game we are very much looking forward to, even more so now that a special edition release (and you know we love special editions) has been announced for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC to coincide with the game’s launch, May 3rd. In keeping with Duke Nukem’s style and pinache, the special editi...[Read More]
Earlier this week SEGA released the first real gameplay trailer for Platinum Games’ upcoming multi-player brawler, Anarchy Reigns. While there were glimpses of gameplay in each of the character bio videos they released last week, this is our first clear look at what we can expect in a real game scenario. Are you excited? Get excited. I’ll wait.
Finally, after three years of waiting, I get to eat some more Mafia hearts and play around in more freaky WWI hell-type areas. Oh, joy!
It’s Call of Juarez, but in the present. So, maybe they should call it Call of Juarez: Modern Gunfighter?

Many months ago Kyle wrote about two new HD trilogiescoming to the PlayStation 3: Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia. Earlier this week, Ubisoft released more information about the packs, and when gamers can expect them to become available.
A fighting game that makes you work for your wins.
While normally one would have to suffer through weeks of waiting for the next piece of information to be released about a game one anticipates, SEGA has thrown that old paradigm on its head and seems to be giving us a consistent stream of character bios for Platinum Games’ upcoming title, Anarchy Reigns.
A new look at Anarchy Reigns was released today, joining the previously released screenshots and the trailer that did nothing more than tease us with glimpses of the characters (I wonder if that’s why they call it a teaser?). Witness the first, of hopefully many more to come, character bio for Anarchy Reigns: Zero!
In the past week, there have been two reviews of SNK’s Neo Geo games for the PlayStation Network. First, we had Ahmed’s review of Fatal Fury. Overall, he felt Fatal Fury was worth your time and money. Then, we had Phillip’s review of Baseball Stars Professional. According to Phillip, Baseball Stars Professional, which was released in 1990, “hasn’t aged well.” I ...[Read More]
