Barakamon (Anime) Review

Earlier this year, anime publisher Funimation Entertainment released the slice-of-life comedy series, Barakamon, in a Blu-ray and DVD combo pack, and with how much I enjoyed the manga, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to check out this entertaining anime.

Dishonored 2 Review

I really enjoyed the first Dishonored. It gave me a newfound respect for stealth games. Usually I would just run through the game killing everyone in sight to get to the ending. With Dishonored, I took my time, planed out every kill, and did my best to keep the chaos low in Dunwall.

Mario Party: Star Rush Review

Come on Nintendo, you’re killing me. I have been a fan of the Mario Party game series since its debut back in the late 90’s. I, in addition to many others, fell in love with the series due to its unique charm and refreshing digital take on the board game and party game genre. It’s no secret that Nintendo has struggled to maintain the Mario Party franchise’s reputation over the years and has been t...[Read More]

Killing Floor 2 Review

Killing Floor 2 is the popular PC wave based shooter developed by Tripwire Interactive. Luckily for us Playstation gamers, we now get to have a PS4 port. This is Tripwire’s first console release, and we couldn’t be happier of their decision. Killing Floor 2’s goal is give you a fun co-op based shooter, and overall I would say they have succeeded in that.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Review

I will start this review by letting you all know it may be colored by the fact that I’m a HUGE Potterhead…so make of that what you will! How is J.K. Rowlings new movie Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them. You’re about to find out in my review!

Super Rad Raygun Review

Super Rad Raygun comes as a re-imagining on the indie game Rad Raygun that made rounds on the Xbox Live Indie games section of the marketplace. While Rad Raygun was a cool experiment, it lacked depth, and honestly the Xbox Indies weren’t as prominent in their placement as indie games are now. Thus, a revamp of that idea was in order for the folks at Tru Fun Entertainment, produced by both Sc...[Read More]

Thumper Review

If someone told me that this would be the year of the unique rhythm game in January, I would have laughed at them. However, here we are. A while back I reviewed a rhythm RPG game, and now we have Thumper, a self titled “rhythm Hell” game.

Pirate Pop Plus Review

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery – or so I’ve heard. That might explain why 13AM Games and Dadako’s latest effort, Pirate Pop Plus, is a variation of Capcom’s classic Buster Bros., which recently came back to life as DotEmu’s Pang Adventures, but with a high-definition twist.

RapidX Gaming Chair Review

I’ll be honest – DXRacer has the gaming chair market knocked. It knows how to make a versatile, comfortable product, and has various models available for YouTube and other streaming stars to take advantage of. (It’s ideal for regular gamers as well, especially those looking for something convenient for the long-term.)

Titanfall 2 Review

I always consider Titanfall to be a title that got me out of sheer curiosity, then managed to keep me thanks to its incredibly fluid gameplay. After all, this was the work of Vince Zampella, a guy that put his name on the board with the Call of Duty games, and his team at Respawn Entertainment. They understand what it takes to make a shooter click, and Titanfall certainly did. Still, I could see h...[Read More]

Mark McMorris Infinite Air Review

The problem with creating an ideal snowboarding game is that it needs to feel like you’re actually on the board. Without that, really, you could have all the features in the world and the game would fall apart, mainly because no one would be able to grasp the controls.

Jackbox Party Pack 3 Review

The mad geniuses at Jackbox Games have a whole new batch of games to offer us. Fun, silly, stressful, and just plain crazy. Is The Jackbox Party Pack 3 worth your hard earned cash? Or are we getting tired of party games?
