Review: Jewel Quest Mysteries Curse of the Emerald Tear (DS)

Jewel Quest Mysteries: Curse of the Emerald Tear for DS is seriously so much fun. No really, it’s seriously fun. Featuring a perfect blend of hidden object gameplay and Jewel Quest, I have played this game for a ridiculous amount of hours.

Review: Hidden Mysteries Titanic (Wii & DS)

Recently Avanquest released Hidden Mysteries Titanic for the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS systems. Being advertised as a mixture between hidden object and puzzle in terms of gameplay, I feel that accurately describes what players can expect.

WCG Ultimate Gamer Season 2 Episode 1 Review

A few days ago I posted an interview with Rachel Quirico, AKA Seltzer, who is a contestant in this seasons WCG Ultimate Gamer. What I haven’t been posting are the episode reviews, so here I am! If you’re unfamiliar with the show, let me try to summarize it for you: gamers across the United States and Canada are selected and then put into a house for weeks where they have no contact wit...[Read More]

Review: Worms Reloaded

The wait is over!  Worms fans will rejoice, new fans will enjoy.

Review: Astro Dodge, Bloody Trampoline, Dream Wife (iOS)

We love iPhones.  We love playing games on our iPhones.  Imagine, then, our pure, unadulterated, unapologetic glee when we received three additional iPhone game codes for review.  If you can’t imagine it, allow me to elucidate: it was spectacular.  Perhaps I exaggerate, but if I do, it is only for the benefit of our intelligent, attractive, loyal readers.  And the rest of you, too.  On to th...[Read More]

Review: Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

I remember playing Tomb Raider when I was younger.  Specifically, I played to ogle the beautiful Lara Croft’s buttocks and breasteses as she fought her way through enemies and puzzles (in my defense, I was a teenage boy without a social life at the time).  Oh, and I suppose the gameplay was nice, though as I’ve mentioned, it was far from my main interest in the game.  Over time, as I b...[Read More]

Review: Ys Seven: Questing It Old School (PSP)

Back in the day, with the day being the late 80’s and early 90’s, I loved adventures and RPG’s. I recovered the Triforce time and again in The Legend of Zelda. I discovered the secrets of both Mana and Evermore. Earthbound was like a mother’s embrace to me. And don’t get me started on Final Fantasy II and III (or IV and VI for you picky people). I love the old school ...[Read More]

Review: Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty

It’s been over a decade long wait, but Starcraft finally has the sequel it deserves in one of Blizzard’s most polished games ever. Starcraft 2 has been split up into a trilogy of three games, the first being “Wings of Liberty,” which focuses on the story of Jim Raynor, his revolution against Arcturus Mengsk, and the fate of Kerrigan and the Zerg Swarm.

Review: FASTAR! (iOS)

Late last week Cat in a Box Games was kind enough to send us a review code for their new game FASTAR!, for the iPhone.   Looking at the iTunes page for the game, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect.  I liked the (hopefully) intentional spelling errors and light-hearted take on a classic fantasy RPG style, but I had no idea how the game would play.  I installed the game on my new iPhone 4 (I l...[Read More]

Review: Wedding Dash 4-Ever

A while ago I announced the upcoming sequel to the Wedding Dash franchise, Wedding Dash 4-Ever. Having only played the iPhone version before, I thought I could easily get through this game without any trouble. Boy was I wrong.

Review: House, M.D. (PC)

You may be familiar with Dr. Gregory House and his team at Princeton-Plainsboro Hospital. You may have even felt the emotional tension as Thirteen (Olivia Wilde) and Foreman’s (Omar Epps) relationship slowly went downhill. But, I bet you’ve never seen House and his team quite like this!

Review: Samantha Swift and the Fountains of Fate (PC)

Last Friday Samantha Swift and the Fountains of Fate by MumboJumbo Games was released for PC. Having never played a Samantha Swift game before, I knew I would be embarking on a new journey, and that I would probably enjoy it. Thankfully, I was right.
