I am a HUGE Rock Band fan. In fact I have over 700 songs in my current Rock Band 4 library. I host Rock Band Parties once a month. Heck even my Wife and I run a charity stream called Rock Band 4 Charity.
If you’re like me, you happen to play a lot of Rock Band 4 Rivals. With so many songs to pick and own, that’s the main reason I enjoy the game. Well without babbling on, Harmonix has announced the DLC hitting consoles this month. What are they? Let’s find out!
What would music be if it wasn’t for controversies? No, I am not announcing a Janet Jackson Nip-slip DLC package. (However, Harmonix, that is a free idea.) This week we get two new songs, and it is of everyone’s favorite genre: Pop. BUT DOUG THIS ISN’T POP BAND! Yep, I know, but let’s look at it
After last week’s game update, Rock Band 4 DLC is back! However, there is one slight difference with this week’s (and according to the Rock Band 4 Facebook page, this month) DLC release. We’re only getting two songs. That’s the bummer news. The good news is that they are legitimately good tracks that most rock fans know! \m/
Ripping the Band-Aid off for you hardcore rock junkies quick: It’s a Pop Week for DLC. The good news, these are actually really good songs from a few years back. The downside is I get a prediction wrong from a few weeks ago, but I am very happy I got this one wrong. The songs this week are:
Howdy there, Rockers. Was last week a little too “poppy” for you? Well, great news. This week is nothing but Van Halen. The full pack is $9.99, or you can purchase individual songs for $1.99. The full list...[Read More]

Are you one of the avid fans of the Rock Band franchise? I have a few friends that have spent so much money on DLC I’m amazed at the amount of songs I can play. Just think what it looks like on Rock Band Blitz! Anyways, Harmonix has announced that the Dave Matthews Band will have three songs coming on November 6th on Xbox 360 and on the 7th for PS3. What tracks might these be?
Earlier this year, at PAX East, I had the opportunity to play a bit of Rock Band Blitz, and let me tell you, it was pretty bad ass. It was easily one of those games that I just couldn’t wait to play again. After waiting, and waiting, and WAITING, Harmonix has finally announced the release date and pricing for Rock Band Blitz, previously scheduled for “Summer 2012.” Do you remembe...[Read More]
I’m a huge fan of the band Paramore, but it has been a while since I listed to them or played a track via Rock Band. Recently, Harmonix announced a new track pack known as “Paramore Pack 01.” Does this mean more later on? For the track list of this DLC, take a look below:
Until you become a fantastic guitar player in your own right, don’t expect to 100% anything in Rocksmith. Why? Because Rocksmith is the ultimate troll. What’s that, Player 1? You’re so close to mastering the chords of Plug In Baby? Well, I think that calls for a celebration! And by celebration, I mean I’M GOING TO INCREASE THE DIFFICULTY SO THAT YOU WILL ALWAYS BE JUST ALMO...[Read More]
