I am in mourning after learning about the sad demise of Guitar Hero. Activision has cancelled the development of the next installment in the Guitar Hero franchise and on top of that, Viacom has sold Harmonix, the developer of the Rock Band series, making it seem very likely that the end is nigh for music rhythm games.
The rumor mill is turning again, this time producing the price tag for rhythm game giant, Harmonix, which was sold only a few weeks ago!

Right now at the GameStop website, there are some fantastic deals going on, known as a Power Saver Sale, and let me tell you…it’s massive. In all of my years working for GameStop (2001-2005), I never saw a sale this big, so if you can, I highly suggest you take advantage of it.
