Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition Is Getting A Nintendo Switch Release

Moon Studios’ Ori and the Blind Forest received critical acclaim when it was released in 2015 for Xbox One and Windows. The 2D platformer was praised for its tight controls and challenging (but fair) gameplay. In 2016, Moon Studios released the Definitive Edition, which contained more areas, and a new difficulty system. This included a One-Life mode to truly test the most skilled players.

Senran Kagura: Peach Ball (Switch) Review

I’ve always heard of the Senran Kagura series, but never took the time to sit down and play one of the games. I’ve seen the cover art for the games, but never really any gameplay. Like most, I had my opinions on the series. That is not to say they were negative, they were not in the slightest bit, merely just a series I never played.

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is Shooting for the Switch via Kickstarter

The early 2000s were an interesting time for a dwindling genre. Platformers, both the 2D and 3D variety were some of the most popular games periods with most players at the time having their favorites and even all then all-time classics in the genre were declared. As interest started to shift to more realistic graphics and the boom of first-person shooters, platformers started to gain less and les...[Read More]

The Last Remnant Remastered (Switch) Review

For most of my gaming life, Xbox consoles have been pretty much absent. PC, Nintendo, and PlayStation have always fulfilled my gaming desires. There are plenty of reasons for this, and I’m not going to bother readers in this review. Every now and then, though, a game would come out that would make me wish I had an Xbox console; The Last Remnant was one of those games. As a big fan of JRPGs, to hav...[Read More]

Redeemer Enhanced Edition (Switch) Review

While there are certainly some excellent top-down action RPGs that sets the bar extremely high, I do think there is room in the genre for more experimentation and growth. Recently releasing on the Nintendo Switch, Redeemer starts off strong with a mildly interesting combat system that’s more in line with an arcade beat-em-up. Unfortunately, on the Switch, Redeemer is plagued by performance trouble...[Read More]

Nintendo Switch Lite Announced, Coming September 20th, Special Pokemon Sword and Shield Edition on November 8th.

Just the other day we got our first look at the long-rumored “lite” version of the current Nintendo Switch system, appropriately titled the Nintendo Switch Lite. Nintendo has a habit of providing us with minimal details at first and then going into more detail at a later date. Surprisingly, we got essentially all the information we could have possibly needed all at once for the Nintend...[Read More]

Terraria hits Switch this Week

Ever thumb through gaming news feeds only to stop at a piece of information and go, “Oh, that’s neat?” That was me after finding out that the classic crafting adventure Terraria is coming to Switch on June 27th. The release just makes sense as the game has been on just about every platform and the Switch is quickly becoming the go-to for games of all types. It is a perfect match for the small but ...[Read More]

Yesterday afternoon, we had the pleasure of meeting with Blizzard-Activision and their assisting PR team to preview Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. Upon arriving in the private event suite, we were offered candy, soda, and water to get our engines revving. The wheels slid off the track though when the team decided to reveal that Spyro Reignited Trilogy would be coming to the Nintendo Switch on Sep...[Read More]

Sitting in solitude, Vasily counts his prayer beads and reflects on the atrocities that were wrought by the very hands thumbing the delicate chain of wishes, wishes to forget and wishes to move on. Hammer and pistol in hand, Vasily stretches his tired bones prepared for one last shot...[Read More]
