I love Quake. My favorite Quake of all time was Quake III: Revolution for the PS2. It was fun, it was violent, and I loved everything about it. Hearing that Bethesda is bringing Quake Arena Arcade to XBLA is like being a kid and hearing that Santa is getting ready to come down your chimney and deliver presents.
Every now and then a platform is graced with a game that pushes the boundaries of what people thought it possible of. Infinity Blade is that game for iOS. Developed by Chair Entertainment, the same group that gave us the critically acclaimed XBLA games Undertow and Shadow Complex, Infinity Blade makes use of Epic Games’ Unreal engine to bring what is sure to be a memorable gaming experience ...[Read More]
Update: Shortly after this release schedule was announced, a Konami representative spoke out confirming an alternate schedule. The game will be released on PSN December 14th, and on XBLA December 15th. A few months ago I discussed the announcement of the classic X-Men arcade game coming to XBLA and PSN with considerable excitement and glee. I am afraid that, in that discussion, I did not make it v...[Read More]
Yeeessss! You’ll have to forgive me while I do my happy dance over here, but I’m so excited for this news, it’s unreal. Today NinjaBee Games dropped some massive knowledge bombs: a release date for A World of Keflings, the price (which, in my opinion is very reasonable), and how the title will tie in with two other games that are being offered during Microsoft’s “Game...[Read More]

Oh yes! Today NinjaBee Games released screenshots for their third kingdom in the hotly anticipated XBLA game, A World of Keflings. Months ago when the trailer came out I almost died from excitement, so these new screenshots are sure to make me bounce off the walls.
A few months ago I reviewed Dream Chronicles: The Book of Air for PC. When I found out last week that the original Dream Chronicles was coming to XBLA, I was all over it. After spending many hours going through single player and local co-op with Chris, I can honestly say that the game had some high points, and some equally frustrating moments.

Recently, Sproing Interactive and dtp entertainment released Dance! It’s Your Stage for Xbox Live Arcade. Having already released the game for PC and Nintendo Wii, I was curious as to how it would play on the 360.
Now available is the latest theme pack for Capcom’s smash hit, Dead Rising 2.
For months I’ve been hearing people on Twitter and other social networking sites singing the praises of Plants vs. Zombies by PopCap Games. As a person who isn’t too into the tower defense genre, I avoided it like the plague. Up until a week and a half ago, I was convinced that PvZ was another one of those games trying to cash in on the zombie craze that’s been going on right now...[Read More]
I have some great memories of arcades. I remember this great arcade back at Crossroads or Quail Springs mall (I can’t remember which one now, this was over 15 years ago) in Oklahoma CityI remember when Luxor hotel and casino was first built out in Las Vegas, they opened up a fantastic two-level (or three-level, it’s been close to 15 years since this particular memory) arcade on the lob...[Read More]
