Do you enjoy watching the latest and greatest anime? Who doesn’t! Well moments ago the XBL application for Neon Alley went live. What does this mean for you, the viewer? You’ve guessed it! A nearly endless amount of anime in English dub. At this moment I’m downloading away so I can spend tonight checking out the collection I can watch since Netflix has limited anime I enjoyed.
Nintendo had been making an incredibly strong, and frustrating, case for me to purchase a Wii U. Rayman Origins was one of the best platformers of the entire console generation, so Ubisoft’s announcement of Rayman Legends as exclusive to the Wii U was all but the nail in my coffin. The nail in my coffin was the announcement of Bayonetta 2 as exclusive to the Wii U, with Bayonetta being one o...[Read More]
With Dead Space 3 getting closer to release day I’ve been working on beating both Dead Space and Dead Space 2. Who wouldn’t want to be refreshed and hyped up about Dead Space 3? EA has released a new trailer for your viewing. Do you have what it takes to play this game solo or with a friend? Well here is what you may be seeing in the coming days when Dead Space 3 is released.
I do not believe that any game developer or publisher is perfect, even in cases of a perfect track record. A company with a perfect record is simply a company that has not yet made its first mistake. Platinum Games is one of the companies that sits on my “haven’t screwed up yet” list, primarily because of their absolute brilliance in developing Bayonetta and Vanquish (my game of ...[Read More]
WINNER ANNOUNCED: Congratulations Aldo Araujo! One last time, About a month ago, SEGA released the sequel to 2010’s Sonic & All-Stars Racing, cleverly titled…Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. The biggest change to the game from its predecessor was the inclusion of multiple vehicle transformation types, allowing the races to transition from ground to air, air to water, water...[Read More]
WINNERS ANNOUNCED: Congratulations to Brodie and Leon Durham! Left 4 Dead 2 is one of my absolute favorite zombie themed games. I disapprove of a lot of zombies in video games, because they either rarely make sense (Call of Duty) or they’re not well implemented. Left 4 Dead 2 makes sense and is wonderfully implemented, and not only stands as one of my favorite zombie titles, but as one of my...[Read More]
WINNER ANNOUNCED: Congratulations to Mr. Nerve Damage! Three and a half months ago, give or take a few days, Bethesda released the second of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s DLC packs: Hearthfire. Hearthfire allowed the player to build his or her own homes across Skyrim, customizing each one (to a certain extent) as the player pleased. It wasn’t really an action-packed release, but focuse...[Read More]
I don’t often play sports games, but lately I’ve been playing quite a few, including the most recent NBA release from 2K Sports, NBA 2K13. I’ve noticed that there are a lot of different factors that bring players in to a franchise such as this year after year, such as the team rosters, the soundtrack, and the overall quality of the game. Is NBA 2K13 worthwhile? We’ll see.
It has been a while since we heard about anything new coming to RAGE. Personally I enjoyed playing the hell out of the game, but it hasn’t had a lot of attention lately. It seems to that news a few months ago about new DLC is true and some information has surfaced. What information do you ask? Well, PS3Trophies has published 10 new trophies/achievements for the game that seems to be part of ...[Read More]
I find myself in a somewhat contradictory position. I have never played Zone of the Enders or Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, yet I am a massive fan of mech games and anime series. I’m not sure why I never got around to it, but the recently released Zone of the Enders HD Collection is my first experience with the series at all. That being said, aside from a few bumps that really should h...[Read More]
Just over a year ago, Activision released Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure, which went on to become a certifiable cultural phenomenon. The reason for its success was twofold: a great game that could appeal to both adults and kids alike, and (perhaps more importantly) its interaction with physical collectible toys that monetized the game in an incredible way. To put it plainly, it was a game tha...[Read More]
