Right now, I am seriously about to burst from excitement. You guys (and gals) have no idea how incredibly crazy I am about A Kingdom for Keflings, so it’s only natural that I am already gaga over A World of Keflings and I haven’t even played it yet. Minutes ago, this delicious little email from NinjaBee came in and the contents were GLORIOUS!
The Second Encounter makes it way to XBLA next month.
Today, it was the unfortunate responsibility of Major Nelson to announce that Xbox LIVE would be increasing its price, effective November 1, 2010. Why is this responsibility so unfortunate for Major Nelson? Because of the Internet. Yes, Internet, I am looking squarely at you, and you know perfectly well why I am focused on your vile visage. Probably the most bizarre news I’ve heard in the past 24h has to be the now-confirmed rumour that a MW2 glitch unlocks 5 XBLA games, published by SNK Playmore. Unfortunately for SNK, all you need to take advantage of this glitch is a copy of MW2, one of the top selling games of 2009!
We haven’t talked about Borderlands much on World of Meh. To be perfectly honest, I can’t recall it ever being mentioned at all. This is not because we didn’t play the game, or because we played the game and simply did not like it. On the contrary, we quite enjoyed the game. Our lazy asses just never wrote anything about it. North America fans of 505 Games Naughty Bear will be excited to hear that today, on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, they can download some nifty free content. Not only will they receive a code update, but they will get the all-new Level 8 episode.
Today, BioWare returns to form with another great DLC installment for Dragon Age: Origins. Last month it was announced that Golems of Amgarrak would be released, and having just played through it right now, I can honestly say it’s one of their better ones.
Capcom have recently confirmed that Dead Rising: Case Zero is to come to Xbox LIVE exclusively on August 31st at 400 Microsoft Points.
Shank, announced at Penny Arcade Expo 2009 and debuted at E3 2010, has received an official release date and a few additional details. Klei Entertainment will be releasing Shank for download via PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade on August 24th and August 25th, respectively, at a price of $14.99 PSN / 1,200MSP XBL.
Xboxers knew these were coming for awhile, and now they are here! Fans of the Street Fighter series can now dress up their Xbox Live avatars like some of their favorite characters.
Lindsey and I both love trivia shows; They’re an opportunity for us to show off just how much useless bullshit we store in our heads (a lot). When we saw that Xbox Live had an online interactive trivia show in the form of 1 vs. 100 (based on the TV trivia show of the same name), who were we to say no? We jumped in to the first season of 1 vs 100 a little late, due to when we got Xbox Live,...[Read More]
