One of my favorite mangas that I read through was the dark, edgy, supernatural crime thriller that many grew to love: Death Note. The story follows the descent into darkness of Light, led by a god of death and his Death Note. Through this black notebook, Light is able to kill anyone he sees by simply writing their name onto the pages. What starts out as an after-school vigilante quickly turns into a mass murderer trying to cover his tracks.

There are a couple editions being released: the standard Blu-Ray edition, and the Omega Edition Blu-Ray limited edition. The standard edition gives you all 37 episodes in crisp 1080p resolution and three hours of bonus content all on 5 discs. In the Omega edition, you get the contents of the standard edition, as well as two feature films, more bonus content (on 6 discs), and a 64 page booklet that features the original pilot of the manga series. Honestly, this is a must have for fans, and to be honest, it is sexy as all get out.

Be on the lookout for these collections starting March 1st. As for me:

Doug bashes his fists against the keyboard and eventually a piece of video is made, sometimes it is even funny. Some of his gaming accomplishments are: completing a living Pokedex on the Pokebank, 1000 pointing BCFX: Black College Football: The X-perience: the Doug Williams Edition, and only crying five times during the Kingdom Hearts series.
