Although the October 2018 Games with Gold offer provided Xbox Live Gold members with a wide variety of titles, the November 2018 Games with Gold titles aim to blow its predecessor out of the water. Last month, Xbox Live Gold members had the opportunity to download Overcooked, Victor Vran, Stuntman: Ignition, and Hitman: Blood Money. Although the October 2018 is mostly over, Victor Vran ($19.99) is still available to download until November 15th. The November 2018 Games with Gold offer grant players three triple-A titles.
The November 2018 Games with Gold offer allows Gold members to play the newest Battlefield, Dante’s Inferno, Assassin’s Creed, and a game that will make players feel like a god. As of November 1st, Xbox Live Gold members have the opportunity to download Battlefield 1 and Assassin’s Creed. Battlefield 1 ($39.99ERP) is free from November 1st to 30th. Jump back to WW1 and witness what was originally considered The Great War. Transfer throughout Europe and battle against friends and foes in giant battlefields where players can use planes, boats, tanks. Join up to 64 players in multiplayer combat.
Experience the first Assassin’s Creed ($19.99 ERP) is available to download on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One from November 1st to November 15th. Step into the life of Altair an Assassin who must fight off the Templar blight and save Apple of Eden. See how the hit franchise started and created an empire for Ubisoft. Decide which assassin is your favorite now that all Assassin’s Creed titles are available to play on Xbox One.
Starting on November 16th, Gold members will have the opportunity to download Race the Sun and Dante’s Inferno. Race the Sun returns players to the old retro-style arcade game where the rules are simple; just survive! use the light to power your vehicle and avoid crashing into objects. Race the Sun ($9.99 ERP) will be from NOV 16th to December 15th. Start down a path of redemption and vengeance when Dante’s Inferno ($14.99) joins the Games with Gold Program. Dante’s Inferno is free from November 16th to 30th. Dante’s Inferno is a great way to get ready for Darksiders 3 and reignite players love for hack and slash fighters.
Based off of previous experience, it will be a joy to be able to replay Assassins’ Creed and Dante’s Inferno on the Xbox One. Assassin’s Creed still ranges in a top 20 franchises for me and it is due to the story elements established in the first game. If Ubisoft brought back Altair to the Assassins’ Creed franchise, former fans of the franchise could return. Dante’s Inferno was one of the first hack and slash titles that we got to play with creatures out of this world. The ending left a lasting impression that still haunts us to this date and makes us wish that a sequel had been announced.
After a few mediocre Games with Gold offers, Xbox has definitely stepped up the program to bring new Xbox One players to see the benefits of Gold.
