NIS America released a new trailer today for an ambitious and unique RPG, Poison Control. The trailer gives viewers a first glimpse as to the nature of Poison Control, as well as its mechanics, characters, and overall world of Poison Control. With a release date for this coming Spring, the excitement has begun for this latest offering from NIS America.
The news comes from NIS America through a press release and video on Youtube. The trailer demonstrates the world and mechanics of Poison Control, which appear to be significantly different than most other action RPGs. The trailer showcases a combination of third-person shooting and fast-paced action within the surreal Hell Realm. Players play as two characters inhabiting one body. One character, Poisonette, is a demon woman with her own plans, using the Protagonist, a mortal human, for her own gains. The Protagonist can interface with various weapons and aspects to Players will fight devilish monsters directly using unique weapons and combat. As Poisonette is a demon, she will have moments to tea control of The Protagonist’s body, and use her abilities to discover the lost souls of girls who have fallen into Hell. In order to get to Heaven, The Protagonist and Poisonette will have to work together. In between activities is an RPG system to help level up and improve the characters. Certain bonding moments have the potential to change the conclusion of the story. In addition to the mechanics, the trailer showcases the vibrant manga-style illustrations of the main characters.
