March 2021 PS+ Offers Brings the Fantasy RPGS

March 2021 PS+ Offer

2021 has been an interesting year. So far in 2021, we have seen announcements that make our heads spin with joy and disappointment. Just this week alone, new information was released about Final Fantasy 7, Pokémon, Nier Automata, and Anthem; these are just a few of the interesting things happening in 2021. In case you missed any of that news. EA announced that they were pulling focus Anthem and putting it towards Dragon Age and other future projects. Square Enix announced new versions of Final Fantasy 7 coming. Today, Nintendo announced a remake of Diamond and Pearl and an open-world Pokemon Game. Today also saw Sony reveal their March 2021 PS+ offers.

Last month, PlayStation Plus members had the opportunity to download Control Ultimate Edition, Concrete Genie, and Destruction AllStars. Although this lineup is exceptional, Microsoft was not ready to be outdone. The February Games with Gold came in hot. Gold members had the opportunity to download Resident Evil, Gears 5, and Lost Planet 2 alongside two additional titles. Now, with the March Games with Gold titles announced, Sony is striking back.

Today, Sony announced the March 2021 PS+ offers. The March PlayStation Plus offer feels like Sony was sending a message to Microsoft. Next month’s offer will give PS+ members two renowned RPG titles. Starting on March 2nd, PS4+ members can download Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Remnant: From the Ashes, and Farpoint. PS5+ members can download Maquette for free. PS4+ members can not redeem Maquette for free. Additionally, PS4 members who download FF7 Remake through the March 2021 PS+ offer will not be able to upgrade to the PS5 version for free.

If you do not own a PSVR, you can still play Farpoint using the PlayStation Dualshock Wireless Controller. If you are not a PlayStation Plus member, you will have until April 5th to redeem the FF7 Remake and Remnant: From the Ashes offer. Destruction Allstars will also be available until April 5th for free.
