Earlier today, we released our PAX East Hands-On preview of Kao the Kangaroo. If you have yet to read that you bet hop to it or else you might have to dodge a furry of fiery jabs. Today, Tate Multimedia is pleased to announce additional information on the Kao the Kangaroo reboot. This new trailer also introduces players to some of the supporting cast. In the new Kao the Kangaroo trailer titled Friends and Family, fans get a deeper look at some of the game’s supporting characters. Which of the supporting characters is your favorite? Let’s hope to it mate.
In the Kao the Kangaroo Friends and Family trailer, we learn more about Master Shifu, we mean Walt the Mentor. Additionally, we learn more about Marlene and Gadget.
Walt the Mentor’s background story is, “Learned to Fight before he could walk. A master fighter, Walt is a mentor to Kao and to his father. He knows what makes a great champion…and maybe Kao will too. ”
Marlene the Mother’s backstory is, “Marlene is the Iron Lady of the Kangaroo Village – She’s better at hiding her true feelings behind her stern gaze, but deep down she’s a caring & loving mom. Family comes first!”
Gadget the Friend’s backstory is “Gadget enjoys tinkering, thinking, and inventing…even if those inventions lack the thought of a genius. His best invention was his friendship with Kao.”
With this supporting cast of characters, it seems like each character has Kao’s best intentions at heart. Will their connection with Kao cause a tough decision to be made or will they just support him through his journeys?
