At PAX East 2019, I had the chance to check out Double Fine’s recently announced Rad, and while it didn’t have the best first impression, as I kept playing it kept revealing more awesome and enticing reasons for me to change my mind.
There were lots of games across all genres and budgets in Boston for PAX East 2019. Sometimes though, it’s a port of a classic that can really stand out. Creature in the Well is one of those games. The mixture of Breakout, pinball, and a dungeon crawler was not something I can say I ever wished for but I’m so glad that Flight School Studio brought these things together in one incredibly fun package. I had the opportunity to check out this unique title at PAX East.
I fell in love with Destiny 2 and obtained the Platinum Trophy on PlayStation 4, but since achieving that goal, I have barely picked up the game since. I don’t know if it was playing too much at one time, or a lack of compelling content to keep me engaged, but my interest in Destiny 2 dropped very quickly.
I have never played Killer Queen before, and am sad to reveal that fact.
