One of the joys of tycoon games is taking on that feeling of “I could totally do better than those guys at running one of those companies.” Now developer Mardonpol is giving gamers the chance to outdo Valve, EA, Epic, and everyone else in Tech Corp., the startup simulation tycoon game.

Hands-On With The Caligula Effect: Overdose (PAX South)

When Bowling For Soup sang “High School Never Ends”, they didn’t mean it as an aspirational song. However, in The Caligula Effect Overdose, out now in the United States from NIS America, that’s exactly how a self-aware Virtuadoll interpreted paradise.

Dwarf Fortress Comes To Steam!

It’s on its way. The grand-daddy of all open-world builders is finally on its way to Steam. Some say that it was the primary inspiration for games like Minecraft, RimWorld, and Prison Architect, and that if you listen carefully, you can hear someone shouting “No one tosses a dwarf!” if you try to click and drag one of the dwarven sprites. All we know is that it’s called Dwa...[Read More]

Hyper Jam Review

Often there are movies or video games that take on the cyberpunk aesthetic. Hyper Jam is one of those games and does so in an enjoyable and flashy manner. A free-for-all arena combat game, Hyper Jam packs excitement of finishing off foes with flashy weapons such as rocket and grenade launchers, a giant hammer, and a personal favorite of mine, a bow and arrow, while setting the arenas in visually c...[Read More]

Praey for the Gods Gets Early Access Trailer, On Steam January 31st

Shadow of the Colossus is one of my all time greatest games out there. It may not be the top in reviews, it may not be for everyone, but to me, it is one of those games that hits me the hardest emotionally. The size of the world, the size of the creatures, the amazing soundtrack, the grim love story. I played it first back on the Playstation 2, then when I got my first Playstation 4, I played it o...[Read More]

To me, that sounds like a great Friday night. Hyper Jam, being developed by Bit Dragon, is just that. Coming to Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on February 12th, 2019, Hyper Jam is boasting a “one-two-three punch” with local and online m...[Read More]
