It’s an interesting time to be a fan of sailing games. Normally a largely overlooked genre, March has seen the introduction to open beta or Steam Early Access of three vastly different takes on the concept. Make Sail takes an interesting blend of robust vehicle construction, open world exploration, and the vast loneliness of an empty sea to make a game that’s interesting from the moment it hits Ea...[Read More]
Back in 2016, Koei Tecmo released the first Attack on Titan video game adaptation, which was primarily based on the first season of the show. While it did receive some mixed reception, no one can deny Tecmo established a foundation with its addicting and brutal combat against the ever fierce Titans. Now with its sequel, Attack on Titan 2, the series seems to have found its footing, with a few trip...[Read More]
Time to put on a fresh pot of coffee, because everyones’ favorite closers have just gotten a new level cap. With their latest content patch, called the “Pandimensional Update,” En Masse Entertainment expands their MOARPG with new community events, limited release skins, new gear, and of course the new level cap and a near area to try out some new skills.
Sporting the tagline “Don’t lose your head!”, Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Iguanabee have announced today that they will be releasing a new multiplayer party game called Headsnatchers later this year for PC and the PlayStation®4 console.

Greetings Backloggers! Hooray, another Backlog, and it didn’t take me five months this time! That said, I also picked a Christmas game with a theme that made perfect sense when I started it during Christmas break, but significantly less sense finishing it in March. The game in question being Winged Cloud’s Christmas themed visual novel Sakura Santa.
We love behind the scenes videos here, especially when they offer the chance to get a look behind the scenes at a new team. It’s a joy to see a team like AurumDust release a Meet the Team video ahead of the release for their upcoming RPG Ash of Gods: Redemption.
Ash of Gods, the story-focused tactical RPG from AurumDust, has been on our radar at least since their story trailer hit the intertubes last month. Originally slated only for PCs, they’ve just made a big announcement which will massively increase the potential audience for this promising looking turn-based RPG.
Peanut Butter and Chocolate. Milk and Cookies. Beer and Curling. All great combinations that go great together. It turns out that SHMUPs and roguelikes are another great examples, two great game styles that blend great together.
Prepare for battle, because the alarms are sounding once again. KOEI TECMO has released a trio of new trailers for Attack on Titan 2, and things are getting intense. With videos highlighting multiplayer, combat, and custom characters, there’s something in today’s news for everyone.
Surprise time travelers, I’m here with a special announcement. Chrono Trigger is finally out on PC. One of the most beloved RPGs of all time is finally getting introduced to a new audience. PC Master Race rejoice it is finally your turn to travel through time with Crono and his cohorts. Find yourself exploring a beautiful world and getting lost in soundtrack that I still have stuck in my hea...[Read More]
